Kimberly, I met you and Mark and the boys in Columbus, OH a few weeks ago. Just wanted to drop a note and let you know I have NOT forgotten about Cannon and your family and you remain and will remain in my prayers. God bless you and your beautiful family!!
Your friend from Oklahoma!
We all remember our meeting well! You were so ridiculously kind! I think my blog here is being wonky because it doesn’t appear to have posted a bunch of replies to comments that I wrote ages and ages ago! I’m so sorry! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for praying for our sweet boy! He still has his challenges but we are standing firm on our foundation in Jesus and know that because of that…..we will never walk alone and always be ok! God bless you!
Kimberly, I think of you and your family often..hoping that you guys are on the upswing! It was great to meet you while I was in AZ. Bless u in every way, Emily
I am not sure my original reply posted so i will try this again! Emily! Thank you so much for stopping by and saying hello! It was so nice meeting you, chatting with you, and hearing about your ministry! What a calling y’all have been given! If you are ever in AZ again…..please…..I would love to see you and hear an update! God bless!
Walking out in the yard on Labor Day to inspect my weeds, little did I know that there was a “divine appointment” for me as you jogged up on your morning run. The Oakville Church was a stop on your jog in the country. However, our conversation quickly moved from its history to your history – how God has touched countless lives through the ministry of your father (and his father); how God has strengthened you in the huge challenges you have faced in raising Cannon; how God has even worked through your son, Townsend in blessing you and others with his faith and service (even requesting to do yard work for his grandmother in order to support a needy child).
You mentioned your blog and how you desire more time on a regular basis to add to that. I am praying that God will orchestrate that time for you. I am also praying for Cannon’s next procedure and that God will bring healing – taking away each of those diagnoses that are warring on his young body.
I look forward following your blog and will continue to keep your family in my prayers.
Yours in Christ,
Oakville Presbyterian Church
What a memorable morning run it was! I am so very thankful for our meeting and for your kindness in sharing with me. I completely agree that this morning was a divine appointment! A treasure of moments. What a blessed congregation you serve…..to have a pastor who is so welcoming and attentive to the every detail of what is shared. I pray that we will be able to come back agin soon and visit with you and attend a service! Thank you so very much for these sweet thoughts and prayers! You truly encouraged and inspired me to get home and make this thing happen! Invest the time and make this blog what I truly want it to be. If just one person reads it and is encouraged…..it will all be worth it. God bless you Pastor! All the very best!
